Her house was up against the ocean…literally. House, rocks…ocean. WOW.<\/p>\n

We talk all the time and I’ve been running around like \u00a0a mad woman trying to get things squared away before I leave but I wanted to take some time to Skype with her today. \u00a0Glad I did…always glad I do.\u00a0\u00a0She is all about nutrition and yet,\u00a0I love that she doesn’t judge me as I tell her I’ve been stress eating and stuffing my face with doughnuts, cake, and anything else that will go straight to my thighs.<\/p>\n
As we log in and begin conversation, her bright smile on the screen, she says, \u00a0“Are you getting excited??!!”<\/p>\n
I thought- “Excited?” \u00a0Why would I be excited about what’s happening?<\/p>\n
She saw the look on my face and followed up with: “You wished for this!”<\/p>\n
“How so?”<\/p>\n
Then she broke it down… “You did Lo. You put your dreams out there to the Universe and they are coming true. \u00a0Remember, the Universe doesn’t tell you HOW you are going to get to your dreams…all you need to know is that you WILL get to your dreams. \u00a0This is part of your journey.”<\/p>\n
Damn. Powerful, insightful. I paused…and realized she was right. \u00a0I don’t know what I was so worried about. \u00a0I wanted this…and as she said “wished for it.” \u00a0Sure, it’s not how I imagined it would go but I’ll get there…and this is just part of how I will.<\/p>\n
When we decide to send out our dreams and desires into the Universe, \u00a0we don’t need to know the path. \u00a0Whether it’s the Universe for you or God, the path is ours to be on, but not ours to decide if it’s going to be a windy, steep, or straight one. \u00a0It’s not up to us to decide how it will manifest. \u00a0It will ultimately lead us to where we are supposed to be…to accomplish those dreams that make us feel whole and full of purpose.<\/p>\n

Weird how that works huh?<\/p>\n
