Is anyone there? Does anyone still read this?<\/p>\n

Wow, it’s been almost a year. And quite a year at that. My last post was about my friend’s breast cancer returning. Sadly, on April 8th, it finally took her life. This has to be hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. I’ve never felt such a loss and even though she was ill for a while, I’m still in shock. I can’t believe she didn’t make it. I was so sure she would beat this. I know one thing, I’ll never be the same.<\/p>\n

I don’t know when I’ll adjust to this new normal but I know I have to try. I have to try for her. I have to try for me. I hope my writing returns with some sense of humor…or at least it gets better.<\/p>\n

I guess there’s nothing to it but to get back into it. No matter how bad it is…just…write.<\/p>\n
